Alison Rose, owner of Brushed by A Rose, combines her artistic experience painting large-scale murals with her mastery of faux finish techniques.
Alison can spruce up a room with an accent wall, or combine custom, hand-painted images with a brushed pearl glazing in the background; a recent project transformed a sparse apartment by using a several finishes in an array of complementary colors to transform it into a warm cozy living space, much like a finished canvas.
Alison’s soft blending of colors is inspired by the hundreds of sunsets and seascapes that are forever in her mind...the layers and layers of soft pastel clouds of an early morning sunrise…the blazing fiery tones of an island sunset.
After applying the glazes in the colors you choose, Alison will cover them with a protective clear sealant. Not only does that make the wall and paint durable, but it adds a lush overtone to the finish.
